About Us

Fireshoe owners Eric Colley and Hallie Shepherd released their first feature film as a filmmaking duo in 2009 on Netflix (remember Netflix discs?). Their more recent films have released on Hulu, Redbox, Starz, Showtime, and Peacock, plus small theatrical runs nationwide. They often collaborate with other companies and talented filmmakers.

Meet the Owners

We love creating projects from the ground up – directing, writing, producing, acting, editing, post-pro supervision, and more. We also love collaborating with partners to contribute one or two needed components on a film. Creativity, flexibility, and a high work ethic are very important to us, and we pride ourselves on delivering results on budget while maintaining positive and safe work environments (a.k.a. fun sets!). Fireshoe is based out of Seattle & Los Angeles, and we’re happy to travel for projects too.

Eric & Hallie’s Fireshoe Films

Filmmaking Duo

Eric and Hallie’s credits include producing Oscar Winner Cuba Gooding Jr.’s directorial debut Bayou Caviar, which stars Gooding Jr., Famke Janssen, Katharine McPhee, and Oscar Winner Richard Dreyfuss. The film released theatrically in 2018 in NYC, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Seattle, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, and other major cities. It’s now available on Hulu.

Shortly before that, Hallie and Eric produced the suspense/thriller Last Seen in Idaho, which Eric directed and Hallie wrote. Additionally, Hallie played the lead role opposite Casper Van Dien and Wes Ramsey while Eric played a supporting role. Together, Hallie and Eric edited the film, which premiered on Showtime in 2018 and is currently available on Peacock. Hallie also won the “Best Actress” Jury Prize Award at the Gig Harbor Film Festival for her role in the film.

Prior to that, they produced the World War II drama The Last Rescue, which Eric directed and Hallie co-wrote with Sean Gleaves. Hallie played one of the main characters in the ensemble cast, and the Fireshoe duo edited the film with Paul Proios. Redbox premiered the film in 2015, and it’s currently available on various streaming networks.

They are currently finishing post-production on Fireshoe’s fifth feature, a comedy called Bigfoot Killed My Wife, a story that Hallie and Eric created together and play the lead roles in. And yes, Bigfoot is also in it.
